That’s not Christianity. You’re just being a human, like most everyone else. This desire to live peacefully and cooperatively with others is natural and not granted by Christianity. You should just lose the religion and act empathetic as your normally do, Christianity itself only subverts our human kindness and causes misery.

Actually it’s not completely conflicting.

I am a straight guy and I find it against my nature to imagine having sex with a man (I can imagine being a woman though =) .. and the idea of anal sex is disgusting to me.. much so more with a man.

But then I wouldn’t call that hate.. that’s nature. if all men liked gay sex, women would stand no chance of getting pregnant (men are much hornier).

But overriding our instincts we can come to accept people who are different.

Just don’t touch my ass!

We have to wait for science to come up with an answer to “some people are born gay or transgender”. So far it’s more of a tendency (studies of identical twins and gay behaviour). There is no gay gene (wouldn’t survive).

Personally I think it IS in part choice and part a brain problem.. some people just get wired up different .. growth of the brain is also a selective evolutionary process. It’s how you get criminals feeling no empathy or geniuses with many times the brainpower of us mortals.

No-one said ANYTHING about imagining to have sex with (other) men..
But… have you ever heard of a Freudian slip of the tongue? xD
