Jude, stop looking at your fingernails! But, gah, you gotta love these two. They’re so great together and seem so comfortable around one another. I find it cute how Robert just grins whenever Jude’s talking (or stumbling) and how that arm stays attached to Jude’s chair the entire time.
And Jude’s face when Robert’s talking about Watson trying to get away from Holmes is classic. That little what-are-you-talking-about look.

u know whats funny..Jude Law is the quintessential ‘hot guy’ like he has the looks and the accent and he’s been the ‘hot guy’ for years. But in the interviews and in the movie, Robert shines..like whenever he’s on screen he owns it and he is SO SEXY. I mean he’s a very good looking guy and all I mean he’s short and cute but Law is the textbook hunk. Point is, goes to show that personality and charm go a LOOONG way.

Whether it be slash or bromance , these 2 make the most awesome Holmes / Watson and although I ship Holmes/Watson, I get where Jude is coming from it can just be 2 best friends and soul mates in a different way. I’d love a 2nd movie as I already seen this one twice !

What you need to understand is that while Ritchie would love to push the gay direction, Andrea Plunket who owns the rights to Holmes won’t let it happen. The film clearly shows for me that Holmes is kinda gay (Irene just gets a brief kiss at the end), but Watson is not. To me it’s a friendship between a gay and a non-gay.

robert has such a solid, strong personality that you can see in all of his movies, unlike a lot of other famous actors who are just sorta bland.

i highly doubt their actually gay. but they are so bromantic. i think more guys need to be this comfortable with eachother instead of being afraid of looking gay. they look so happy!
